With the majority of high-quality car speakers having ridiculous price tags nowadays, it’s certainly a breath of fresh air to see a pair of 5.25″ coaxial car speakers that provide a crystalline and well-decorated output at a competitive, friendly price.

  • Affordable price tag
  • Compact and lightweight design
  • Easily mounted and installed
  • Crystalline sound quality

  • Poor low-frequency range

The Focal Access 130CA1 SG isn’t one of those speakers that require some sort of bolster to unleash their full potential – see more of best 5.25 speakers. This is a completely self-sufficient audio system by every sense of the word. This system’s mid-range sound quality is one that will help animate the most minute details that you couldn’t hear using your previous sound system.

The speakers feature a sturdy, lightweight ABS frame that provides enough space for the cone to move freely. It also helps provide proper ventilation for the voice coil, increasing its longevity. The built-in crossover also features high-quality components that ensure the smooth distribution of frequencies to the tweeter and woofer, producing a life-like sound.

While 100 watts of maximum power rating isn’t all that impressive compared to other component systems, but for such small speakers, they sure have enough power to blow your roof panel off.

The speakers can hold their own very well at high volumes by virtue of their 4-ohm impedance, so you don’t have to worry about pushing them to the extreme.

The reason behind these speaker’s great ability to perform so adequately is probably the woven fiberglass cone that’s housed inside each speaker, which is highly resistant to humidity.

Further, the butyl rubber surround adds more years to this component system’s lifespan. The vibrations produced by the cone go through the surround to create some intoxicating simulations that add to the listening experience.

The inverted aluminum dome tweeters, despite their relatively small size, perform at a level that rivals larger models with extremely rich and clear sound output. Additionally, they’re very easily adjustable for your convenience.

I really like how incredible this system is at reproducing higher frequencies without grating on the ear. However, not really a fan of its performance when trying to reproduce notes that are on frequencies lower than 100 Hz. Regardless, this are a highly recommended Focal car speakers to have.
